Airshow! (RAF Leuchars 2009)

Oh man, I forgot how cool airshows are. The earth shattering blast of afterburners on full power, the heart stopping moment as 2 jets pass a whisker from each other, the proud rumble of the Spitfire’s Merlin engine. It’s an anoraks wet dream. Well, fetch me my anorak!

It reminded me of a Stingray in the way it carved a path through the sky. I had binoculars and actually used them with legitimacy and without hiding in a bush. I also had an ice cream.
